I had to do a whole bunch of math before I casted on my stitches. I thought my dog was going to get bigger, because he was so tiny when I picked him up. The first time I brought him to the vet he weighed 4 pounds. Now he weighs in around 8 pounds 6 ounces as a four year old. I keep thinking he's older, but he's still very much a puppy.

My grandmother had knitting magazines, I was able to preserve some from her house. After my grandfather passed away (my father signed the papers to take him off life support as his executor of will, his youngest child (most boomer you can get) on the day of my birth)

In the last picture in the slider, during the middle of making this for my dog, I accidently left the project out and he got to my needles. I would have made this faster but I had to wait to go to the store and find a new pair. You'd think bambo needles would be cheaper but they're not. Something about the way the wood feels in my hands when I knit feels easier for my hands to work with instead of metal needles with plastic connecting the circular needles. Less chance of breakage where the plastic connects and they'll keep longer.
