Oven Mitts

My oven mitts were falling apart and I gave them new life with an old towel. I got some linens from a lady I use to work with when I was a home loan opener back in 2016.

I made sure everything was washed before I mended the old mitts by hand. I cut the towel in half and then halved again for each mit.

Inside out they look sus but I can assure you they're comfortable and super easy to make. Remember: If you're using a wet cloth towel or oven mits to touch something hot, you'll burn yourself, so, don't do that.

The banana bread is a random one I found online. I've been experimenting with different types of fat and sugars so I can't say I found a consistent recipe for myself yet.

One thing I can assure you, my banana bread is usually sufficent. I can eat it all but I'm working on sharing.
