So there's this lady by me who sells soap in cotton square swatches. I wish I could afford her luscious soap now but I keep the cotton bits from the couple of bars I've purchased in the past for reasons like this.
My waffle stitch is falling apart at the seams. I had an idea of adding a pocket. Lining the new pocket up right was the hardest. Deciding where to stitch can get nerve wracking.
I added the pocket first from the back for reenforcement as it's made of cotton and much stiffer than the polyester of the sweater. I will be dammed if I don't get another ten years out of this thing.
I had to break out the seam ripper and get the placement of the outter seam to look "nice". I'm happy with this placement. I'm pleased with the final results.
